By becoming a member of the Duct Cleaners' Network, business owners are demonstrating to the public and to their colleagues that they take pride in their profession, and are committed to providing the quality of work each and every customer deserves.
DCN Members commit to:
- Display professional conduct that promotes the advancement of the industry, and sets a proper example for others.
- Pursue only ethical practices in the pursuit of business growth and success.
- Avoid statements that may be misleading or deceptive to consumers.
- Behave fairly and professionally in all dealings with customers, vendors, employees and colleagues.
- Educate consumers as thoroughly as possible about the benefits of and proper procedures for air duct cleaning.
- Describe accurately and honestly the price, procedures and standards of workmanship used in their businesses.
- Promote high health and safety standards for their customers, their employees and themselves.
- Encourage and support continuing education and training throughout the industry, lend support and input when possible, and stay abreast of changing laws, codes and standards at local, state and federal levels
- Quickly report business practices contrary to the intent of this pledge.
